A little over a month ago we shared via our blog that Chevrolet signed a deal with Manchester United in a post entitled, “Chevrolet Signs Five-Year Sponsorship Deal with Manchester United.” In that post we announced that Chevrolet’s bowtie logo would now appear on the team benches on the stadium, but unfortunately, the logo would not be on the player’s jerseys.

Well we are happy to announce that Chevrolet signed yet another deal with the famous soccer club making Chevrolet the official shirt sponsor of Manchester United! This change will take place at the start of the 2014-2015 season and is in an effort to help make Chevrolet more of an international brand.

“We are extremely proud to connect our brand, Chevrolet, with Manchester United and its passionate supporters all around the world,” said General Motors’ North America Vice President of US Sales and Service, Alan Batey.

“Manchester United’s statistics are impressive, but this relationship goes far beyond the numbers –- this relationship is about connecting our brand with the deep-seated emotion that surrounds the team everywhere it goes.”

So join Royal Chevy in cheering for Manchester United when the Barclay’s Premier League starts back up on August 20.

Go, Man U!
