Eli Manning Goes Home with a Super Bowl Trophy and a 2012 Chevy Corvette

February 8, 2012 in Chevrolet News, Corvette

After winning a Tiffany & Co. Pete Rozelle trophy for his big win at this year’s Super Bowl, Eli Manning was given the keys to a 2012 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Convertible Centennial Edition.

Manning’s 2012 Corvette Centennial Edition is black-on-black and celebrates the brand’s 100th anniversary.  The Corvette sports satin-black graphics and unique Centennial Satin Black wheels and red brake calipers.  On the inside, ebony leather with red stitching appears on the seats, steering wheel, and shift knob.

Powering the Corvette Grand Sport is a 6.2-liter V8 engine that delivers powerful 436 horsepower.  In less than four seconds, this vehicle can sprint from 0 to 60 mph.  Magnetic Selective Ride Control adds to the Corvette’s solid performance.

In the midst of his excitement over the game, Manning had to be reminded by NBC commentator Dan Patrick to take the keys with him to this Centennial Edition Corvette.  Not too bad of a day for him if you ask me.
